Annette Wiguna and Nikki Quartermaine of Kaya Kwobidak are proud to present this beginner-friendly 2-in-1 workshop at the Fremantle Fibonacci Centre. Your morning will begin with an introduction to the art of botanical printing, guided by Annette. You will learn how to prepare a wool shawl for printing using selected, locally foraged native plants that produce beautiful red prints. You’ll also discover how to prepare a natural dye pot from scratch, using ingredients from your pantry and garden. Annette will demonstrate effective bundling techniques to ensure exceptional print clarity.
While the bundles are in the pots, Nikki will share her Dreamtime story of wildflowers, explain their cultural uses, and guide you in creating your own bushflower essence remedy to take home.
