Social Dye Session 2026 - March

  • Victoria Park Centre for the Arts 12 Kent Street East Victoria Park, WA, 6101 Australia (map)

What is Social Dye Session (SDS)?

SDS is held once every 2 months (bimonthly) to reconnect with fellow dyers/textile enthusiasts who wish to explore dyeing and printing in a self-directed group setting. Please read the following important information about SDS and if you are eligible to participate:

  • SDS is not a tutored workshop but rather an informal session

  • SDS is only open to those who have done my textile workshops before AND anyone who are already familiar with the scouring and mordanting processes.

  • You will need to bring your scoured and mordanted fabrics/yarns, and optionally your own pot/stove if you’d like to have full control of your dye bath.

  • I will provide my own Eucalyptus/tannin dye bath, steamers, stove, and a couple of dyes that everyone can try.

What to bring:

  • Please wear closed-in footwear, apron, and byo mask, gloves, tools you require for your project.

  • Any vegetation from your garden you'd like to dye/print with

  • Your scoured and mordanted textiles.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Please note that I am not able to provide a refund for non attendance. If you are not able to attend a session, please let me know in advance as I am happy to allocate your booking to another session.
